Baker boyz is now offering airbrushing classes.These classes will be on NOVEMBER 1 , 15 & 29 2008 The course starts at 9 am and goes to 5 pm and will cost $50 per person. Book your spot in advance Classes wont run unless there is a minimum of 6 students registered by thursday . It benefits every type of person, wether you are just getting started or just need a couple of extra tips on your project.

It's the 2nd Annual LearnAirbrush.com Panel Swap!!


Please join us in an ever-popular COMMUNITY EVENT - A Panel Swap. Last year's debut swap was a HUGE success and Mike and I are proud to host another international event.

The idea behind the swap is to paint a panel, post it, and then on the scheduled day, Micah will pull names out of a hat and you will be given a name of another LearnAirbrush family member to send your artwork to... and you will receive a piece from someone else!

Panel Swap Rules:

1. Minimum Panel size is 12" x 18"

2. Limit of ONE entry per person.

3. There is no theme, so paint whatever you want, however let's keep things tasteful.

4. It is not mandatory, but I think it is cool to incorporate "LearnAirbrush.com Panel Swap 2008" in the piece somewhere. I noticed a lot of people did that last year without us even mentioning it.

5. The panels should be cleared. If this is a hardship for anyone, please just let us know and we will arrange for a member in your area to help you out.

6. We want to include international community members as well. I realize that the shipping in this case can be a hardship, so we will work something out to pick up the slack. International members, please do not avoid entering due to potential postage costs.

7. Panels must be posted in the Official Panel Swap Thread by Wednesday, October 29th.

8. Names will be drawn at the Halloween TGIF Party on Friday, October 31st.

9. This event is open TO ALL REGISTERED USERS of LearnAirbrush.com.

10. In keeping with the spirit of this event, we would like to stipulate that the artwork to be entered in the swap, be created for the swap. We have set aside over 10 weeks in hopes that this would be enough time for everyone who wants to be a part of the event to schedule and complete a project.

Participants will be introduced to the art of airbrush paint finishing for custom design and painting of vehicles. Topics will include: planning and design, equipment operations and settings, surface preparation, material selections, layering techniques and clear coat finishing. Participants will have hands-on training utilizing practice panels and mini-jet paint equipment.
